Annapolis, MD-- The HerbFM crew is in Annapolis today to cover the MLL Championship weekend.  Boston and Denver face off first today followed by Long Island and Toronto.  We spent the morning checking out all the festivities taking place in the parking lot of Navy-Marine Corps Stadium.  Bud Light has a lounge set up in the parking lot for the adults.  This tractor trailer turned bar has two floors and TV's.  Warrior and Brine have tents set selling merchandise for all the fans.  Monster is giving away free energy drinks.  Watch out for all the super hyper kids running around Annapolis.  Hopefully they do not sugar crash and miss the games.  Got a chance to hang out with Buggs Combs and Brian Christopher before the games.  Great guys.

Boston is playing with 4 long poles on Defense where Denver likes to incorporate slides to create double teams.

6:03 - BOS - Greg Downing scores unassisted. 2-1 BOS

5:40 - Max Seibald misses a 2 pointer.

The game has been sloppy due to the defensive play of both teams.  No one has really been able to settle things down.  The Boston Defense is really suffocating so far today.

:51 - DEN - Brendan Mundorf unassisted.  Tied 2-2.

Turner just made a great save for BOS.  Not sure why he is playing instead of Levin.  However, he is playing really well today.

12:58- Jesse Schwartzman hits the deck after blocking a shot off his wrist. He will leave the game and Adam Fullerton will come in.  Fullerton is wearing his brother's number today in honor of his service in Iraq.

10:08 - BOS - Rabil sick behind back pass to Boyle.  Boyle scores on the quick stick.  4-2 BOS

Smith showing some good moves.  Boston is really pressuring the Denver Defense.  Rabil, Christmas, Smith and Boyle are tough to manage when they are on the field together.

Action returns to the field.  Mundorf who as 3 goals today was the first ever UMBC player drafted into the MLL.  Eric Martin and Paul Rabil are jawing at each other.  The defenses are still playing really well.

These two teams played each other twice this year.  Both contests were one goal games, splitting the series.

Jesse Schwartzman has never lost a game at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, this includes college.  It looks like he is poised to keep that up.  Just found out that Schwartzman was not invited to try out for the USA Lacrosse team.  It seems a bit shocking considering his resume.
