Towson, MD-- Towson will be hoping to use the home field advantage as they take on UMass in one of two semi final games on tap for this evening. The Tigers started the year an abysmal 1-5 record only to turn that around an get the #1 seed in the CAA with a 6-7 record overall and 4-1 in the CAA. Coach Seaman will be looking for phenom goal tender Travis Love to bounce back and help lead the defense. On the other side, Christian Pastirik, Tim Sutton, and Will Harrington will be looking to get on the board early and often. UMass (8-5) comes into the game with a higher poll ranking even though they are 4th in the CAA. UMass will turn to sophomore goalie Tim McCormak to stop the Towson attack. This game marks the first ever UMass conference post season appearance. The Tiger's are hosting UMass for the first time since the '63 season, when UMass won 7-3. The last time these two teams met on 4-10-2012 Towson beat UMass 10-9 in a one goal thriller. Look for todays game to be the same. Umass has won there last 4 re-matches in season, just a thought for Towson fans to think about tonight.
Towson, MD-- The #15 ranked Towson Tigers will try to extend their win streak to 5 games today against the visiting Penn State Nittany Lions. Towson leads the series 12-4 and will be relying on Christian Pastirik (18G, 15A), Tim Stratton (11G, 10A), and Will Harrington (20G, 4A) to put the game out of reach early. Tiger's goalie Travis Love will have to defend against Matthew Mackrides (31G, 5A) and Billy Gribbin (19G, 7A) to improve to a winning record. This game is vital for the Tigers, not only is it senior day, but a win today will allow Towson to host the CAA tournament. The Tigers are hoping their strength of schedule, which is one of the hardest on the nation, will help them come tournament time. The Nittany Lions, however, are bringing in CAA Player and Rookie of the Week Nick Dolik to help de-rail the Tigers.

Towson, MD-- The Towson Tigers have been playing much better than their 1-5 record. Adding a second win is going to be a difficult task. The Delaware Blue Hens (5-4) are coming to town and would like to stay above .500. Tiger's Coach Seaman will be asking a lot from Christian Pastirik (12 G, 8 A) and Will Harrington (12 G, 2 A) to lead this team to victory. The Tiger's will also need a big game from Ben Strauss on the defensive end to stop Delaware's Curtis Dickson. Dickson is leading the NCAA with 36 goals so far this season and should prove to be a handful for Tiger goalie Travis Love. The Tiger's will need to score fast and put some hits on Dickson to win this game. The Blue Hens have lost every game in which Dickson has less than 3 goals. This will be a daunting task for the Tiger's defense.
Series Record: Delaware and Towson are meeting for the 56th time in school history and the Tigers hold a 34-23 advantage over the Blue Hens. Towson has won the last 2 match-ups with Delaware wining the last time in 2007 CAA Championship game at Towson. Twelve of the last 17 meeting have been decided by less than 3 goals.
